Suggestions for Promoting our Visit with You
May we suggest a few ways in which you can help us make our visit with you as productive as possible? Our experience has been that when our hosts make an effort to publicize and promote Resurrection in their area, the event becomes more than just another singing group "making a stop along the way."
- Distribute the poster/fliers available on this page.
- Use the bulletin insert available on this page.
- Pay for an advertisement in the local media using the promotional photos available on this site.
- Send public service announcements to local radio and TV stations.
- If your church/organization has a newsletter or Web site, use a photo and write a short story.
- Make public announcements from the pulpit regarding the upcoming event.
- Use the youth groups or service organizations to distribute fliers in the neighborhood.
- Invite other congregations if they do not have a service at the same time.
- If possible, plan a carry-in meal or other type of gathering with food, to precede or follow the concert/service. Your folks like this combination. (So do we!)
Our desire is that our visit will be a positive experience for all. That usually happens when each person does his or her best to attract as many people as possible. This allows us to share the ministry God has given us with more people, and it is good publicity for your church or organization. We will be adding your date to our Web site and to the schedules that are distributed from our product table. If your church has its own Web site, please let us know the Web address so we can link to it from your listing on our itinerary.
