"RESURRECTION has been to our community twice. Dan and Ginny love the Lord and singing for His glory. We were truly blessed by their ministry, and I highly recommend their message and music."

Rev. Scott Summers

All About Resurrection

We'd like to tell you a little about ourselves—Ginny Yoder and Dan Galema. In 1983, God caused our paths to cross. After singing together in a local group for two years, we sensed a change of direction was needed. In the spring of 1985, we began the music ministry of Resurrection. Since that time, God has given us the opportunity to share with many people the ministry and the joy He has given us.

Ginny Yoder—Ginny has a love for music and a never-ending desire to share with others the talent that God has given her. Ginny possesses that special ability to find the harmony in a song as well as to captivate the audience with her interpretation and delivery of some of our most requested songs. The songs she sings are her testimony of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Ginny's husband, Gary, travels with the group, helping with the equipment and wherever needed. Flora, Indiana is home, but Ginny is "at home" wherever Resurrection travels.

Ginny and Gary are the parents of two adult children, Pat (wife, Becky) and Melanie (husband, Kevin Sietsma). They are also the proud grandparents of Max Yoder and Gracie & Olivia Sietsma.

Dan Galema—Dan began to hear the call of God on his life at an early age. Being raised on Southern gospel music and attending many concerts, he knew that singing gospel music would be a big part of his life. It was at a gospel concert, at the age of 17, that Dan committed his life to Christ. It is his desire to be a blessing to others by sharing the music that God places in his heart. Dan's wife, Carolyn, operates the sound equipment and assists with product table sales. Lafayette, Indiana is home for the Galemas.

Dan and Carolyn are the parents of two adult children, Melissa (husband, Matt Rust) and Adam (wife, Leslie). They are also the proud grandparents of Cassity, Jared & Ryleigh Galema and Jacob & Chloe Rust.

Our ministry has grown and evolved into what is seen and heard today. We have had the privilege of working with some very talented musicians, and have shared the stage with some of the finest groups in gospel music. We enjoy promoting and being involved in "major concerts," fairs, and other special events because it is there that we have the greatest possibility of reaching the non-churched. We also are very excited to serve the local congregation! We have found that leading congregations in worship is where God uses us to uplift and encourage those who already know Him. Our hearts are blessed in doing so. Our music is meant to minister to the listener. It is our true desire to be used by God to share His love, and to encourage and challenge those with whom we have the opportunity to share.

"Resurrection." To the believer, that word means hope, joy, a new beginning, and much more. Through our ministry, we desire to bring each of these meanings to life in the hearts of all who hear.

We have traveled many miles, sung for many different types of events, and have shared our music ministry with small and large audiences alike. It is our prayer that wherever we are given the opportunity to sing, people will know the love of God and will find new meaning in the word and name we have chosen...RESURRECTION.
